MENTORING - WHAT IS IT?

• A mentor is a trusted friend, model, coach, advisor, instructor, counselor, and guide
• A mentor is an influence to help another person grow in godliness by setting goals and reaching them so they can attain their full God given potential.

"God gave the church pastors/teachers to equip the Christians for the work of the ministry and to build up the body of Christ."
[Ephesians 4:11]

Our vision is to train and equip mature men in at GCFI to be mentors so we can provide mentoring for every every boy in need.  Our purpose is to --help young men grow and develop into his full God given potential until they in turn become mentors to others.
