ACE provides academic preparation and technology services that increase the
academic performance and college-going rates of underserved youth and parental
involvement in the educational process ACE provides the following
services for students in grades K-12.

Advisement
on UC A-G subject requirements, honors, and advanced placement courses to
increase competitive admissibility to colleges and universities

Admissions application and essay workshops

Tutoring

Mathematics and writing enrichment workshops

Instruction on learning strategies

Preparation for standardized examinations
(i.e., SAT9, PSAT, ACT, SAT, AP, Exit Exam)

Mentoring
ACE offers these workshops to increase parental involvement in the college
planning and choice process beginning at the elementary school level. The
project conducts a series of College is a Family Experience workshops covering
the following issues:

What is involved in obtaining a bachelor's degree?

What do students need to do academically to prepare for college?

How can parents plan financially for their children's postsecondary education?
